Blueface has been ordered to pay the mother of Soulja Boy’s child over $123,000 in a defamation lawsuit.
Blueface Loses Lawsuit by Default
On Tuesday (April 1), Jackilyn Martinez was awarded a default judgment in Los Angeles Superior Court after Blueface failed to respond to her lawsuit, In Touch Weekly reports. Martinez was seeking $10 million in damages from the incarcerated rapper. However, the judge granted her a payout of $123,243.10.
Martinez originally sued Blueface, born Jonathan Porter, in December of 2023 after the rapper claimed during an online argument with Soulja Boy that he had sex with her the day before her baby shower with SB.
“What’s old about your BM sucking my d**k?” Blueface questioned during the back-and-forth. “Ni**a, I f**ked your baby mama the day before your baby shower,” he added.
Blue also claimed he might be the father of Soulja’s kid. Martinez admits to having sex with Blueface one time in 2018 but claims his baby shower comments defamed her and her child. Her legal team sent Blue a cease and desist letter, but he reportedly responded on social media by posting, “Nobody ever said your name … I don’t even know who you are.” Martinez says she later began getting death threats.
Blueface is currently dealing with other legal issues. He is serving a four-year sentence for violating his probation. The Los Angeles rapper is eligible for parole in December of 2025.
XXL has reached out to Blueface’s team for comment.
Soulja Boy is facing his own legal issues. The Atlanta-bred rapper is currently in the midst of a trial where a woman is accusing him of rape, kidnapping and unpaid wages.
