Actor Ben Savage seems to be contemplating a run for Congress, submitting with the Federal Election Fee to probably exchange U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
The types, filed Wednesday, say Savage, a Democrat, would run for California’s thirtieth District within the Home of Representatives in a 2024 election.
The seat is at the moment held by Schiff, who is anticipated to run for Senate to switch U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Feinstein has not publicly confirmed if she’s going to search reelection.
Representatives for Savage informed a number of shops that “he’s targeted on his upcoming wedding ceremony. Ben continues to be making choices and at all times in search of alternatives to offer again and serve the group.”
Savage is engaged to Tessa Angermeier.

This isn’t the primary time the “Boy Meets World” star has run for workplace.
In a 2022 race, Savage ran unsuccessfully to be on the West Hollywood Metropolis Council. His priorities outlined on his marketing campaign web site included group security, supporting and selling native companies and combating “to guard the rights of renters” and bringing down the price of new housing.
Savage studied political science at Stanford College. Whereas he was a scholar, he interned for former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter.
California’s thirtieth district consists of West Hollywood and Burbank. The overall election for the district will likely be Nov. 5, 2024.
