Britney Spears is on a journey after her DUI trouble and rehab stay… a spiritual journey she’s symbolizing with a snake!
On Saturday, the Toxic singer took to Instagram to share a photo of herself holding a white and yellow snake — reminiscent of the one she performed at the MTV VMAs while holding in 2001 — and raved about what it symbolizes:
“Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what what a beautiful baby snake this is… snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck…”

She went on to shout out her friends before revealing she’s on a “spiritual journey” after being arrested for a DUI and completing a round of rehab:
“I’m so damn thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey… all a blessing in disguise… I still have to learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!”

As we’ve been following, the Womanizer singer was arrested on March 4 in California for a DUI. She ended up going to rehab, and on Monday, secured a plea deal in her legal case. Per TMZ, Brit’s DUI charge was dropped and she agreed to plea guilty to a lesser charge of “wet reckless,” AKA reckless driving involving substances. Now, the Criminal singer will be placed on a 12-month summary probation, where she cannot possess drugs without a valid prescription… and if she slips up, she could face jail time. She also agreed to see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month.
We wish Britney the best of luck on her spiritual journey — as long as it means she’s prioritizing her health!
