During today’s Capcom Spotlight showcase, Capcom re-showed the first trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. However, tagged on to the end of the trailer was a new tease for the return of the elder dragon, Teostra, a series staple introduced in Monster Hunter 2. During Tokyo Game Show 2026, the demo available for attendees to play on the show floor will include the Teostra hunt. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the base game of Monster Hunter Wilds, launching 4th December, will also be playable, including a showcase of local wireless multiplayer in handheld mode. The Ascendance DLC launches for all platforms in 2027. Check out a deep dive into the trailer below, featuring new information about the expansion.
