The feud between Pink and Christina Aguilera is one of the biggest – and most highly publicised – celebrity tiffs of all time.
For years, the pair have been pitted against one another after meeting on the set of the film clip for their 2001 hit Lady Marmalade, which also featured Lil’ Kim and Mya.
They released their debut studio albums within a year of each other (2000 and 1999 respectively) before working together on Lady Marmalade, which is where reports of “tensions” originated.

Pink once alleged Aguilera “swung” at her in a club when they were ”super young and new”.
In recent years, the pair have both shot down rumours of a feud when probed, with Pink recently saying they had ”made amends”.
Here, 9Honey Celebrity takes a look back at their relationship and feud over the years.
March 2001: Pink and Aguilera shoot the music video for Lady Marmalade alongside Mya and Lil’ Kim after recording their vocals separately.
Choreographer Tina Landon recently told Cosmopolitan there was a little “tension” on set due to some ”big personalities”.

“These are four big, individual, lots-of-personality artists in one room at one time at the height of their careers… I think it’s pretty public knowledge that there was tension between Christina and Pink,” she explained.
She added things got “hairy” when Aguilera allegedly didn’t hear what the director was telling her when Pink chimed in and told her what he said.
“Christina did the thing: ‘I was talking to Paul.’ I just sank down in my chair going, ‘Oh, god, please don’t let this get worse,'” she explained.
Aguilera added there was “no drama whatsoever” when they performed on set.
2009: Pink said on her VH1’s Behind The Music special that label executive Ron Fair wanted Aguilera to get the best part of Lady Marmalade, but she told him no.
“He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part,'” Pink said.
“And I stood up, and I said, ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f–king meeting’s about.'”
2016: The two musicians appeared on The Voice together, and Pink later said on Watch What Happens Live that they “made up” and “grew up” after becoming mums.
“We became moms. We grew up. We hugged it out. It’s that simple. I feel so good about that,” she said.
2017: Pink alleged Aguilera once swung at her in a club during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“We were super young and super new at the whole [fame] thing,” she said.
“I think I’m an alpha and she’s an alpha, and I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We just are very different.”
She also said in a tweet that the pair had ”made amends”.
2019: Aguilera said on Watch What Happens Live that she never ‘swung’ at Pink, as she would “beat her ass”.
“Look at her and look at me, I wouldn’t swing on her! She can beat my ass, are you kidding me?” she explained.
“I seem to have a different memory of a night we had at a club where we played spin the bottle. I have a love memory.”
2021: Pink spoke about how it felt being pitted against Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the start of their careers.
She told People: ”It was so unfair to all the girls. None of us wanted that.”
She added she was never “anti-Britney” and loves her music.
2023: Earlier this year, Pink made seemingly negative remarks about the Dirrty singer in an interview with BuzzFeed UK, ranking Lady Marmalade in last place when asked to list her 12 most iconic music videos.
“Oh OK, well there’s Lady Marmalade. I’m gonna put that right down here at 12,” Pink said about the music video.
“It wasn’t very fun to make; I’m all about fun, and it was a lot of fuss.
“There were some personalities… Kim and Maya were nice. I guess it is iconic, but I remember I kept crying because my skin didn’t like the makeup. It was just… There was some annoying things happening that day.”
It wasn’t long before the BuzzFeed clip went viral and Pink was accused of shading Aguilera, 42 – accusations she has since addressed on Twitter.
“Y’all are nuts. Xtina had s–t to do with who was on that song,” Pink tweeted. “If you don’t know by now- I’m not ‘shading’ someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened. I’m zero percent interested in your f—ing drama. If you haven’t noticed- I’m a little busy selling.”
“Also- I kissed xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her ass,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet.
The kiss Pink was referring to was when she and Aguilera apparently were playing Spin the Bottle at a club many years ago. In 2019, Aguilera shed more details on the incident, claiming on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that Pink didn’t want to kiss her.
“I was excited about a kiss. I was like, ‘Oh, kissing, like, all’s good, maybe no, you know, whatever.’ [Pink] put her hand up like this [holds hand over mouth]. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s what we’re doing? Alright. She don’t wanna get ‘Dirrty.'”
However, Pink maintains a kiss did happen at one of her birthday parties, telling Variety in 2021 that Christina did kiss her.
“That was a fun party,” Pink said.
Earlier this year, in an honest Instagram post the 43-year-old singer expressed her frustrations with people for focusing on comments she’s made about her relationship with the pop star rather than her new album, Trustfall.
“I’m so saddened and disappointed by the narrative surrounding some of the press I’ve been doing around my album Trustfall,” she began in the lengthy post.
“The fact that I created one of the most beautiful albums with the most beautiful people – sang my a– off, made myself wholly vulnerable – eleven albums in, selling out stadiums, raising good kids, steadily employing hundreds of good, hardworking people, the only thing they ask you about over and over is a silly feud from your twenties.”
Also in her post, the mother-of-two wondered why male entertainers were never asked about tensions or disputes with their male counterparts when promoting their new projects.

“I wonder when the last time Bradley Cooper or Robert Deniro were asked in interview after interview about any argument they’d ever had. How about Christian Bale?” she mused. “We stick to the art with them, don’t we? I’d like to have the same opportunity.”
