Sonja Morgan propositioned Dave Portnoy in an Instagram comment shared Monday, and unfortunately for the Real Housewives of New York City alum, he was not receptive. In fact, he called her offer “gross.”
After Sonja, 59, wrote a message in which she expressed interest in being taken to a motel by the 46-year-old Barstool Sports founder, who had shaded Tom Brady, 45, for his interaction with Kim Kardashian, 42, Dave fired back at the idea on Twitter as former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Kelly Dodd reacted to his tweet.
“With all due respect….gross,” Dave tweeted in response to an article from Page Six.
And following his message, in a post shared to her Instagram Story, Kelly included a screenshot of Dave’s response, along with a laughing emoji and a laughing sticker.
As RHONY fans may have seen, Sonja responded to Page Six‘s article on Instagram in which Dave’s rant against Tom was featured. In his clip, which was shared on his own Instagram page, Dave, who is currently dating 28-year-old Silvana Mojica, said that to avoid the Kardashian curse, Tom should “f-ck [Kim] in a motel.”
“Go f-ck her in a motel and gossip and tell your friends. … We’re not dating the Kardashians, Tom,” he had stated.
And in response, Sonja wrote, “Awesome. Does that mean Dave will take me to a motel?”
Continuing on in his rant against Tom, Dave said, “If you go down to that level, we all go down. We’re better than that.” He added that Kim “ruins every man’s life she touches.”
“Listen, she’s hot, she’s a bazillionare, but she’s a paparazzi girl. She f-cked on camera to get famous,” he noted. “Kris Jenner is going to be running his life. He’s going to be on ‘Meeting the Kardashians’ and talking about nail polish with Scott Disick and f-cking [Kanye West] and that other guy who keeps having the babies, the Laker guy [Tristan Thompson].”
Although rumors last week suggested Tom and Kim had been “super flirty with each other” at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party, an insider clarified to Page Six that they “only spoke briefly.”
“[He] was talking to different women,” the insider added.
After seeing what Dave said about Sonja on Twitter, a number of social media users weighed in, many of whom weren’t happy about his diss.
“Just because you say with all due respect doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want about Sonja,” one person wrote.
“You couldn’t handle her Dave!” another noted.
“What kind of man says ‘gross’ in public to a woman??? Horrific!! Who raised you?? You are the gross one,” someone else said.
And another fan added, “No, no, no! You do not disrespect the Morgan name!!”
