As filming for Deadpool 3 continues, Hollywood insider MyTimeToShineHello has revealed a promotional image for the movie that has Wolverine fans more hyped than ever. The image shows Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, donning the iconic mask for the first time.
Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine has never included the full comic-accurate costume, particularly the mask, until now in Deadpool 3. Despite expectations that Jackman would retire the character after 2017’s Logan, his return in this upcoming film adds an exciting new chapter to his legacy as the X-Men hero before his rumoured appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Deadpool 3 holds special significance as it marks the character’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox. The film is set to maintain the R-rating that has been a hallmark of the Deadpool series, even under the Disney umbrella.
