Death Cab for Cutie have announced a 2026 headline tour. Beginning July 10 in Minneapolis, the tour will include stops in Cleveland, Toronto, Los Angeles, and more, alongside opening acts Japanese Breakfast, Nation of Language, and Jay Som.
“One of my favorite parts of being in this band is getting to be out on the road with artists that inspire us,” vocalist Ben Gibbard says. “Japanese Breakfast, Jay Som, and Nation of Language have made some of our favorite albums in recent years, and we’re stoked they’ll be joining us this summer.”

The tour announcement comes with Death Cab for Cutie’s recent signing with ANTI-, returning to their independent roots after six albums with Atlantic Records. “We are thrilled to be joining the roster at ANTI-, which includes some of our favorite artists, old friends, and in many cases, both,” Gibbard shares. “We also can’t wait to begin this new chapter with the wonderful staff at ANTI- and share with you what we’ve been working on.”
Last year, the band embarked on a global tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their beloved album, Transatlanticism, and their 10th LP, Asphalt Meadows. Check out the tour dates for their 2026 headline tour below.
