In January 2022, Demi Lovato had a funeral for her pop music. Nearly two years later, Lovato is continuing her punk campaign. In an effort to create cohesive setlists for their fans, Lovato is rerecording some of their earlier work with the punk-rock flair of their newer material.
After two single releases, “Heart Attack (Rock Version),” “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version),” and today’s “Sorry Not Sorry (with Slash) [Rock Version],” Lovato announced that they’re gearing up for a 10-track album, dropping Sept. 15, titled Revamped, featuring some of their biggest pop songs.

Lovato, a longtime fan of hardcore, metal, and punk, appeared on SiriusXM Jose Mangin’s Metal Ambassador Podcast to talk about their upcoming album.
“Someone I’ve always wanted to work with is Corey Taylor and, you know, obviously working with bands like Knocked Loose would be sick too,” Lovato confides. “It’s something that’s on my wish list, but hopefully I’ll have some collaborations for ‘Revamped.’ We’re still working that out, though.”
While Lovato isn’t ready to reveal Revamped’s full tracklist yet, perhaps a Knocked Loose collaboration is in the works. Fingers crossed.
