An investigation has decided that the 14-year-old boy who died after falling from a thrill experience in Florida final month occurred as a result of the seat he was in had been manually adjusted, inflicting it to be “unsafe.”
“This report confirmed our division’s findings that an operator of the Orlando drop tower made guide changes to the experience, leading to it being unsafe,” Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Client Companies Nikki Fried stated at a press convention.
The highschool soccer star was at Orlando’s ICON Park for Spring Break and determined to go on the FreeFall experience. Tyre Sampson was thrown from the 400ft experience.
“He was panicking when he was going up,” the boy’s father, Yarnell Sampson, instructed Fox35. “When the experience took off, that is when he was feeling uncomfortable. He was like, ‘What is going on on?’ That is when he began freaking out, and he was explaining to his good friend subsequent to him, ‘I do not know man. If I do not make it down, please inform my Mother and Daddy I really like them.’ For him to say one thing like that, he should have felt one thing.”
