On the eve of Power Book IV: Force Season 3’s conclusion, fans are eager to know whether the show will return with Season 4. Is this the last we see of Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan? Here’s everything we know so far.
Has Starz canceled Power Book IV: Force or renewed it for Season 4?
Power Book IV: Force will officially conclude with Season 3. Starz has confirmed that the series will not go forward with Season 4. However, this does not signal the end of the Power franchise.
Power Book IV: Force Season 3 premiered in November 2025 and is all set to release its 10th and final episode, “Beginning of the End,” on January 16, 2026. There are no shows left in the current timeline, marking the end of Tommy’s journey for now. Additionally, the prequel series Power Book III: Raising Kanan will also end after its upcoming fifth season.
Although Power Book IV: Force has reached the end of its road, it does not mean that the Power universe is ending for good. In June 2025, Deadline reported that a new series called Power: Legacy is in development. If the show is officially greenlit, the new series will reportedly center on Sikora’s Tommy Egan and Michael Rainey Jr.’s Tariq St. Patrick, as per sources.
Meanwhile, Starz has officially ordered a new installment in the franchise, called Power: Origins. The new series will be set after the events of Raising Kanan‘s final season, with Sascha Penn returning as the showrunner (via Deadline).
The series will explore the early days of Ghost and Tommy in the 90s New York City, chronicling their rise within the criminal underworld. The network has confirmed a total of 18 episodes for the show’s debut season. As of now, no official release date has been announced. However, speculations point to a potential 2026 release.
