Stars have gathered for the return of the powerhouse duo Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, who star together in Freakier Fridaythe much anticipated second installment of the 2000s classic Freaky Friday.
Cast members new and returning posed at the premiere held at Los Angeles’ El Capitan Theatre, including, of course, Lohan, 39, and Curtis, 66.
The on-screen mother and daughter were attached at the hip, with Curtis wearing a gathered minidress in a daring shade of red and Lohan wearing a light pink twisted gown for the occasion.

The world premiere was stacked with entertainment like The Red Hot Band, DJ Randroid, and even the film’s fictional band Pink Slip performing.
Silver confetti fell from the sky and showered the film’s cast, to Lohan and Curtis’ delight.
The leads were joined by other cast members in a group photo, including Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, and Sophia Hammons, as well as director Nisha Ganatra, executive producer Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman.

Also taking a snap is returning star Chad Michael Murray, who played Lohan’s love interest in the 2003 film.
The premiere posed the perfect opportunity for his kids to make their red carpet debut, with the star being joined by his wife, actress Sarah Roemer, and their two eldest kids, who’s names they have not publicly revealed.
Jamie Lee Curtis almost missed out on Freaky Friday role
While Murray, 43, wore a pink jacket and black trousers, his nine-year-old son chose a white blazer and trousers.
Roemer, 40, chose matching ensembles with her eight-year-old daughter, with both wearing pastel green dresses.

The mother-of-three – who also shares a two-year-old daughter with Murray – wore a twisted halter neck gown, while her older daughter wore a dress with flower embroidery and matching flowery heels.
Murray also playfully posed with Lohan’s current love interest in the film, Jacinto.
The cast is rounded out by actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Lohan’s The Parent Trap co-star Elaine Hendrix, wo appear in this group shot with producers Kristin Burr, Ann Marie Sanderlin, director Nisha Ganatra, and a guest.
Ramakrishnan wore a stunning iridescent purple gown that gathered in the middle, while Hendrix channeled Old Hollywood glamour with a polka dot dress, her blond hair in waves, and a bright red lip.
