Dakota Fanning Details Night Out With Kylie Jenner & Timothée Chalamet at Golden Globes
What is this feeling?
The 2026 Golden Globes nominations—announced ahead of the ceremony set to air on CBS Jan. 11 and hosted by Nikki Glaser—are finally here and as expected, Wicked: For Good landed a few nods including ones for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy for Cynthia Erivo as well as Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for costar Ariana Grande.
As for the film itself, which earned a total of five nominations overall, the musical also received recognition in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, but did not get one for Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy. (Or a Best Director nod for Jon M. Chu.)
As far as the drama categories go, Ryan Coogler‘s period horror piece Sinners—which starred Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld and more—continues to sweep awards season, earning seven nods. (And though Michael himself got a nod for his painstaking dual role, costars Hailee and Wunmi Mosaku were left out of their respective categories).
And Sinners wasn’t the only drama recognized with multiple nods, of course, as Hamnet and Frankenstein followed close behind, earning six and five nominations respectively.
