Amazon has an excellent deal on the blue Nintendo Switch Lite. While supplies last–and Amazon’s Switch console deals always sell out pretty fast–you can grab a Switch Lite for only $172.49. That’s roughly 15% off the Switch Lite’s $200 list price and one of the best deals of the year on the handheld-only Switch. Alternatively, you can buy the Animal Crossing special-edition version of the turquoise console bundled with New Horizons for $199 at Walmart.
Walmart has several deals on the Switch Lite, too. These deals are sold by third-party sellers, but they are fulfilled and shipped by Walmart and include free 30-day returns. You can buy the turquoise model for $171, yellow for $179, pink for $180, or gray for $180.
Alternatively, you can buy the Animal Crossing special-edition version of the turquoise console bundled with New Horizons for $199 at Walmart. Target has the same special-edition bundle with a pink Switch Lite for $200.
Though it’s late in the Switch’s lifecycle, the vast library will be relevant for many years to come. Over the past seven years, the Switch has accumulated one of the most impressive game libraries of all time. You’ve got first-party titles like the superb Super Mario Bros. Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, robust third-party support that makes the Switch Lite perfect for indie games, and the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service has a lot to offer retro gaming fans.
Before you make your purchase, you should know that Nintendo is releasing a gold Zelda-themed Switch Lite on September 26, the same day as The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Preorders aren’t live yet in North America, but it will come bundled with one-year of Nintendo Switch Online.
