Why don’t any of you see that?” Netflix has revealed the intense first official trailer for a new military thriller series titled Trinity, ready to launch for streaming starting in December this fall. A heroic female naval officer becomes involved with the outwardly charismatic secretary of defense, only to discover he may be at the heart of a dangerous conspiracy. A 7-episode thriller about a naval commander whose newfound intimate connection with the Secretary of Defense catapults her into a world of political intrigue and danger. The series blends “high-octane action with a nail-biting conspiracy thriller.” Codename: Trinity. Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars as Commander Katherine Decker onboard the USS Kansas nuclear submarine. “An unexpected complication for Katherine is a personal connection stoked by [Webb Preston’s] idealism…” As she gets closer to the truth, she finds herself caught between supporting Webb’s strategy to prevent World War III and exposing his secret agenda. “[She] comes to fear that the US secretary of defense is either the savior of world peace or its greatest threat.” Very interesting.
