Dandadan, while being one of Jump‘s most popular titles in recent years, has never been afraid to get a little weird. The series’ paranormal premise and overall unwillingness to stick to one genre has led to some wacky developments, all while its protagonist has been on a journey to reclaim his reproductive organs. At this point, there isn’t much the series can do that would surprise its rapidly growing fan base, but it seems Dandadan never runs out of tricks.
The most recent chapter #194, titled “We’ve Been Hijacked”, picks up with the gang running into the returning Kito family on an airplane. When fighting breaks out, all turns to chaos, as Momo is still tiny and slowly fading from her loved ones’ memories, and Zuma’s eyesight keeps getting worse. However, just as it seems the main cast is gaining the upper hand, an unexpected Sharknado reference makes the situation far more complicated.

Things Go From Bad to Worse For Dandadan’s Main Characters
Dandadan‘s current arc is one of the most tense and high-stakes the series has seen thus far. The main cast is split into different groups, both facing their own immediate threats, all while Momo and Zuma are in a race against time to reverse the effects of the cursed box. Though the latter were getting close to saving themselves, their plane has now randomly been struck by a storm of sharks falling from the sky. The chapter ends on quite the cliffhanger, with the plane rapidly descending as Jiji helplessly looks on.
