Some popular ones include Stranger Things star Sadie Sink playing Jean Grey and Euphoria actress Hunter Schafer playing the villain Mystique.
The newest rumor revolves around the male side of the X-Men. According to scooper Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic, Marvel recently met with House of The Dragon star Tom Glynn-Carney for a role in the upcoming reboot. While there was no information provided about what character he might play in the MCU, Sneider did suggest that the meeting went well, suggesting that there may be more news to come about the star.
Who Is Tom Glynn-Carney Playing In The MCU?
As with any rumor surrounding the X-Men, there is almost a countless amount of characters that Tom Glynn-Carney could play in the reboot. Perhaps the most prevalent character that has been floated for the House of the Dragon star in the MCU is Warren Warren Worthington III, better known as Angel, and founding member of the X-Men.
However, Angel is far from the only character suggested for Tom Glynn-Carney to play in the MCU. Some other popular X-Men suggested by fans for him to play in the reboot include Cyclops, Pyro, and Quicksilver. While it’s unclear which of these characters he might play, if this rumor is even true, it’ll be interesting to see how he transitions from the dark tone of House of The Dragon to an action/comedy blockbuster.
