A life has been cut short, far too soon.
Jake Hall—a British artist who first rose to fame on the reality series The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE)—died on May 6 in a tragic accident at a villa in Mallorca, Spain. He was 35.
Hall is believed to have died from head injuries caused by shards of glass, per The Sun, citing local officers who responded to the residence.
The Spanish Civil Guard is investigating the incident, per BBC News, but said it “appears to be an accidental death.” They are currently awaiting autopsy results.
Hall was dad to daughter River, 8, whom he shared with Misse Beqiri, a fellow reality star who has appeared on Ladies of London and The Real Housewives of Chesire. Following the news of his death, Beqiri’s rep shared a statement on her behalf.
“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss,” the statement shared to the BBC read. “The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
E! News has reached out to Beqiri’s reps but has not yet heard back.
