So uh, apparently there are some crazy unhinged DC fans out there that are pissed off at DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn for continuing to promote his upcoming Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Some fans are absolutely bonkers, and they seem to have no clue about, well… anything.
Instead of ignoring the trolls, Gunn manages to find the time in his busy schedule of writing everything, prepping multiple DC projects, and running a studio, to take the bait and respond to the trolls. There was one troll that obviously hit a nerve who said on Instagram:
“The worst business that DC could do was to hire someone who advertises the competition. Unbelievable, now can you imagine what their movies are going to be like??? I think it’s a disaster.”
See what I mean!? Fans can be crazy! Gunn responded to that saying:
“The last thing DC would want is someone who would spend the last 12 years of his life creating a series of films, and then turn his back on his last movie. I wasn’t hired at DC without everyone on board being very clear and supportive up front and continuously through this process.”
Of course, Gunn is going to support the hell out of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! It’s his baby! This is the final film of his trilogy, and it’s ok for him to be proud of it! Did some DC fans seriously expect him just to forsake it and all the hard work that he put into making it!? Sheesh.
