Sure, Bronwyn‘s San Francisco trip had a big hiccup the night before, but that’s not going to stop the fun. On this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn punishes those that she has lost patience with and hosts a night out that naturally ends in a fight. But conflict is not just within the group. Angie struggles with her marriage and opens up about the fears surrounding her future.
Angie does a good job of keeping Mary abreast of the trip details while she remains home, coping with the death of her son. Mary explains that grief comes with “levels, layers, and time” and so she needs to continue to process.
Although the trip seemingly got off to a good start, it spiraled quickly when the girls “attacked Quai last night,” according to Meredith. Quai is most hurt because Whitney is the one that brought her secret to light and she trusted her. They were supposed to be real friends!
Angie visits with Heather and they go over what occurred the night before. Angie hypes up Heather’s boyfriend right before she begins crying about her own relationship. Angie breaks down in front of Heather and admits that she is going through a hard time in her marriage.
She talks about how she is just smiling and struggling internally. Having an opinion is starting to matter to Angie and she has become more vocal than her husband is used to. Angie explains that she is merely coexisting with Shawn. What does Angie even want in this new decade of her life? All she knows is that right now things are not as perfect as she thought they once were. At the end of their conversation, Angie begs Heather to keep this close to her chest until she figures out what she is going to do.
Bronwyn has a fun day planned, but is using her host-power to split the group up based on the escapades that occurred the night before, which should be…interesting.
Before the day’s activities, Whitney, Heather, and Britani gather for a quick bite. Whitney does not know where she currently stands with Quai and Britani worries about Bronwyn, since things are not really adding up regarding her divorce.
For instance, the sale of Todd AND Bronwyn’s house? Britani has taken it upon herself to be a real estate detective and finds out that the house is owned by a LLC…Todd’s LLC. So there really is no “our” house to be sold. Britani saw the deed and only Todd’s name was on it. Another odd thing: Bronwyn talks about buying her daughter a house, but is it really the house she is getting in the divorce? Whitney points out that the optics of Bronwyn’s situation look messy.
Later, the ladies head out on their assigned adventure. Quai, Angie, Meredith, and Lisa are banished to Good Vibrations, the antique vibrator museum. Bronwyn thinks this is the funniest since that group can literally “go f*ck themselves” if they have a bad time.
In the meantime, Bronwyn brings the others to a vintage shop with a stylist. The ladies play dress up as the other group acts interested in admiring vintage vibrators. After trying on some clothing, Heather reminds Bronwyn that she can share the details of her divorce.
Britani proceeds to ask Bronwyn the nitty gritty of the home and Bronwyn explains that everything they own is in a trust. Britani prods for information and Bronwyn shares that she will keep Britani abreast of all the details. Everything has been a handshake deal thus far in the divorce, but Bronwyn is busy doing press releases with a hot model. Mayyyyybe not a good idea.
The dinner scene brings the group back together. Bronwyn is thrilled to be hosting in China Town and the women compete to make their own dumplings. The ladies head upstairs for a private dinner and discuss their afternoons. Quai gives Heather a gift as a peace offering and Lisa passes a new dildo over to Bronwyn. The final gift is from Quai for Whitney and it is a gag. Message. Received.
Quai explains she did this to Whitney because the whole toothbrush rumor came from her. Whitney did not appreciate that Quai went to Meredith for help the night before, the one person who hates her.
LIsa believes that everything took a turn, and that Bronwyn added a splash of color to the story. Bronwyn admits to being in all the conversations and that she heard Quai say something negative about everyone in the friend group, minus Meredith. Which is odd considering the only person Quai has an issue with IS Meredith. Welp, somebody is lying.
Whitney refuses to stand down and tries to hold Quai’s feet to the fire so she will admit to sh*t talking Meredith. Quai feels like Whitney is merely trying to create issues between her and Meredith. (Good thing Meredith will never believe anything Whitney tells her!)
Whitney reminds Quai that they HAVE talked about Meredith and if she is not going to have Whitney’s back, she is going to protect herself. Meredith is tired of Whitney’s continual projection and while the fighting is going on, Lisa lines her lips, over and over again. The good news? The continuous lip lining stops Lisa from talking. Instead of going around in circles, they decide to table the issues…for now.
