Script supervisor Emma Danoff on Monday submitted a declaration stating that she witnessed the altercation and it was nothing like what Brooks described in his lawsuit.
Danoff says they have been capturing exterior and Brooks berated an African-American homeless lady with “racial and derogatory slurs” as a result of she was in his method. Depp was sitting subsequent to her about 25 ft away when it occurred.
“He instantly stood up from our shared seat on the sting of a planter bench and went over to Brooks to face up for the lady,” Danoff says. “Mr. Depp stated to Mr. Brooks, ‘You may’t speak to her like that. You assume she is one thing lower than you? Who do you assume you might be? How dare you?’”
Danoff says there have been no punches thrown and no supply of $100,000 for Brooks to punch Depp — and he or she says she has 40 time-stamped photographs that show it.
“Mr. Brooks, and others who’ve abused Mr. Depp, are about to find the implications for making false accusations,” says Depp’s legal professional Adam Waldman.
