Well, well, well, we’ve got a new Sexiest Man Alive, and no, it’s not Blake Shelton again. Sorry to those Little Blakesters out there.
You may also know him as Fiyero from Wicked.
Or you’ve just seen him around because he’s really, really good-looking.
Oh, and he’s also gay. He’s People magazine’s first openly gay man ever to win this *honor*.
As Bradley Stern said, “The way this year has been going, I truly thought this was going to be, like, Steve Bannon. Finally, a correct hottie.”
The 37-year-old actor was on The Tonight Show, where he told Jimmy Fallon, “It’s an honor of a lifetime, and I want to say, Jimmy, thank you so much for turning it down so I could be here.”
He also explained his qualifications for the honor, and, as a gay man, he’s not lying: “I’m sort of thrilled that People magazine has invited someone in to bestow this honor on someone who can really cherish the value of a sexy man.”
A sexiest man alive who can recognize the “value of a sexy man?” Sign me up!
ANYWAY, thank you to the management at People for making the right choice. I think I’d lose it if they chose, like, Kid Rock or something.
