Canadian alternative artist Jutes is the guest on the latest installment of the Lipps Service podcast, speaking with host Scott Lipps about his new album, Dilworth, and Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year.
Jutes digs into hitting rock bottom and navigating sobriety while prioritizing his mental health, his approach to lyricism and the surreal moment of watching Goo Goo Dolls perform at his 2025 wedding to Demi Lovato. The episode concludes with his list of the top five Canadian and emo bands of all time.
On the previous episode of Lipps Service, singer/songwriter Alana Springsteen discussed the recent release of her new single, “note to self,” the as-yet-untitled parent album of which will arrive later this year through Santa Anna Records.
Since it began in 2018, the acclaimed podcast has featured many of the biggest voices and personalities in music, including exclusive interviews with Anthony Kiedis, David Lee Roth, Hozier, Maynard James Keenan, the Police’s Stewart Copeland, Mick Fleetwood, Nikki Sixx, Dove Cameron, Perry Farrell, the Kills and many more. Every few weeks, a new episode of SPIN Presents Lipps Service is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
