If you missed KATSEYE: Wild Hearts during its limited theatrical run, you’ve now got a firm date to catch up. Disney+ and Hulu announced the documentary will begin streaming October 16 in the U.S., with international audiences able to catch it on Disney+ as well.
The film follows the Grammy-nominated, record-breaking global girl group through what’s being billed as a bold new era for the act, built around the bond between KATSEYE and their fanbase, known as EYEKONS.

Expect never-before-seen footage, fan-submitted EYEKONS videos, and intimate interviews with the group members themselves, tracing everything from the intense pressure of Dream Academy (the competition series that formed the group) through their viral chart-topping breakthrough and the sacrifices that came with it.
It’s being positioned as as much a love letter to the fandom as it is a group profile, which tracks with how central EYEKONS have been to KATSEYE’s rise.
Wild Hearts is directed by Nadia Hallgren, produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen. That HYBE connection is notable given the label’s K-pop pedigree, and it shows in how the documentary format leans into the same fan-community storytelling that’s become a hallmark of K-pop-adjacent acts.
The film is landing right in the middle of a genuinely massive year for the group. The streaming release follows the documentary’s limited theatrical run, the kickoff of KATSEYE: The Wildworld Tour earlier this month, and the release of their third EP, WILD, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Basically: if you’ve been meaning to catch up on what’s turned KATSEYE into one of pop’s most talked-about emerging acts, October 16 is a pretty good excuse.
