ComingSoon is exclusively debuting the trailer for Knightfall. The upcoming action movie stars Ian Ogilvy, Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, and more. In Knightfall, audiences will see Ogilvy break away from his iconic horror roles.
The film’s synopsis reads, “Charles Knight, an infamous spy catcher, is thrust back into action when his daughter Ros, a scientist with the only key to a stolen briefcase, becomes hunted. Inside that case: a man-made biological weapon. With deadly killers closing in, father and daughter must trust each other to prevent a homeland security catastrophe.”

What happens in the Knightfall trailer?
The Knightfall trailer opens with Ros telling her father Charles about a man-made bacteria that can be used as a weapon. Following a handoff gone wrong, Ros suspects the mission was compromised by a mole in MI5. Now on the run, Ros turns to her estranged father for help. With several people hunting them, Ros and Charles prepare to face off against their enemies and clear the former’s name.
Knightfall is directed by Ben Fortune. It is the filmmaker’s second feature as a director, following Doctor Plague from earlier this year. It is produced by Jonathan Sothcott, who previously served in the same role on films like Peter Rabid, Renegades, Nemesis, Pentagram, and more. The film has a total running time of 82 minutes and is being distributed by Saban Films. It is produced by Shogun Films.

Besides Ogilvy and Sothcott, Knightfall’s cast includes Geoffrey Moore, Robert Cavanah, Rupert Holliday Evans, Nick Moran, and Michael Paré. Ogilvy has starred in films such as Renegades, Mistrust, The Saint, and more. However, the actor is more prominently known for starring in horror films such as Witchfinder General, From Beyond the Grave, The She Beast, and others.
Knightfall will be released on Digital and VOD on September 11, 2026.
