Kylie Jenner ‘Pushing For More’ With Timothée Chalamet Amid Near-Split Rumors – But He’s Not Having It!

Kylie Jenner is not going down without a fight! Amid reports she and Timothée Chalamet are on the verge of a breakup, Ky is doing whatever it takes to push through!

The young couple has been sparking breakup rumors a lot lately, with the latest surge coming after Timmy was nowhere to be found at Kris Jenner‘s 70th birthday bash over the weekend. Sources have said he feels that “something is broken” in the romance, and others claimed there’s “trouble in paradise” and he’d “broken up” with the model, though they “aren’t completely over.”

Now, it sounds like they’re stuck in a grey zone — not fully split, but not exactly happy either. But the Khy founder is hoping to salvage the relationship, at least through the holidays — even if it might be a little blue!

Here’s the deal. An insider spilled to The Sun on Thursday, calling the 29-year-old actor “cold and unavailable” amid the split rumors. Ouch. Despite that, Kylie is planning to include him in her holiday festivities, one insider dished:

“My understanding: Kylie is pushing for more, Timothée has been trying to disentangle himself and break up with her. But she’s not having it — she is determined to have her Hollywood Star boyfriend, she was awestruck by the elusive and exclusivity of it.”

The Lady Bird star sounds, unfortunately, checked out, and mostly only cozies up to her when he needs her:

“Timothée is luke-warm at best, he goes hot & cold on her, when he’s away filming he barely acknowledges her, when he’s in need of a date for a big event then he’s Mr Charming. That’s kind of been the pattern these last few months – back at the start of the year when it was Awards season and they were spending so much time together, she was hoping to get a big rock this year.”

Yeah, they were all over the place together at the start of the year… A lot has changed! It certainly doesn’t sound like he’s ready to get down on one knee!

But even if things are a little rocky, Kylie still wants to make this romance work:

“She’s been pushing for more, for them to have holiday plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas — but the more she’s pushing, the more he’s backing away.”

Oof. That sux…

So, what’s going on? If the Call Me By Your Name star is so done with the relationship, why doesn’t he just call things off?? Well… It’s bad timing, apparently.

Insiders stressed that while the heartthrob is looking for a way out of the romance, it’s just not ideal right now. He’s currently filming Dune: Part Three and his new movie Marty Supreme with Gwyneth Paltrow comes out in late December. Now is not the time for a PR crisis! Just look at what happened to Sydney Sweeney…

But while Kylie wants him to commit to Thanksgiving and Christmas plans, he’s being “cold” and unavailable — and this is what led to them having a blowout fight just a few days ago! The insider claimed:

“The break-up rumours started because of a big fight last week — she had been getting frustrated over how one-sided [it was].”

Ah, so maybe that’s why he skipped the party? Either way, Kris did get involved!

“Apparently there was a big conversation with Kris afterwards … Then it was decided that this was not the time for the young star to go creating lots of crazy publicity in his personal life by splitting up with Kylie — as that would be so bad for his career and being taken as a serious actor.”

And because he’s not ready to call things off, Kylie is going “full steam ahead” on all her planning!

“Kylie is already busy planning her Globes and Oscars outfits next year, as well as Timothee’s Grammy look — she’s got meetings with the stylists teams over the next few weeks and is pulling in some seriously big fashion names. She’s gone full steam ahead into planning again — it’s as if nothing happened and it’s all perfect. No one really understands why Kylie is clinging on so much, and where’s it’s going to end up, everyone sees how lonely and anxious she is all the time, she’s always on edge.”

Jeez.

This sounds really rough, honestly. If they make it through the holidays and do attend all the award shows together, it’ll be very inneresting to see what their vibe is. From the sounds of it right now, things are really strained!
