Ali Larter is making the most of her summer break before cameras begin rolling on the highly anticipated third season of Landman.
The 50-year-old actress delighted fans by sharing a series of snapshots from an idyllic Fourth of July getaway in Idaho, including a stunning bikini photo that quickly caught followers’ attention.
In one standout image, the Heroes alum showed off her toned physique in a cherry-print bikini layered beneath an oversized denim shirt and distressed denim shorts as she posed with friends beneath the summer sun.
Another peaceful snap showed Ali floating down a river on an inflatable lounger alongside a friend, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery during what she described as an “epic 4th in the mountains!”
“Epic 4th in the mountains!” she captioned the Instagram carousel, which also featured fly-fishing adventures, festive Independence Day celebrations and time spent with loved ones.
The actress, who boasts more than 2.6 million followers across Instagram and Facebook, embraced the slower pace of life with her family after relocating from Los Angeles to Sun Valley, Idaho, with husband Hayes MacArthur during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple, who celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary on August 1, share two children: son Theodore, 15, and daughter Vivienne, 11.
Speaking to Fox News Digital in June, Ali opened up about how family life has evolved as her children have grown older.
“We can’t really get our kids to hike anymore. They don’t want to do that,” she admitted. “But I can get them to take a bike ride and then do, like, a little cold plunge in the river.
“We love to barbecue at our house. We love to play with our dogs. My daughter will probably play some volleyball. We’ll go to Leroy’s and get an ice cream cone. It’s just kind of simpler, and the days are really long.
“The sun’s out till like 10 at night now, so it’s been really beautiful to kind of have the kids out of school and enjoy the time with them.”
Ali first met Hayes while filming National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus in 2007, and the pair married two years later.
The relaxing getaway comes as the actress prepares for a major professional milestone. According to Deadline, Ali recently secured a substantial pay rise, reportedly earning more than $350,000 per episode, to reprise her fan-favorite role as Angela Norris in season three of Paramount+’s hit drama Landman.
Filming is expected to begin in late August in Fort Worth, Texas. Created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the acclaimed series also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Michelle Randolph and Andy Garcia. The show’s second season premiere proved a huge success, attracting 9.2 million viewers in its first two days of release, making season three one of Paramount+’s most eagerly anticipated returns.
