The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films is proud to announce that Laurence Fishburne and Hiroyuki Sanada (2X Emmy and Golden Globe winner) will each be receiving special tribute and honorary awards at this year’s 52nd Annual Saturn Awards.
The awards will take place this Sunday, February 2 at The Hilton Universal City Hotel.
The Lance Reddick Legacy Award will be presented to Mr. Fishburne by acclaimed Emmy and Grammy Award-winning actor, director and producer LeVar Burton. Keanu Reeves was the recipient of inaugural award at last year’s show.
The Robert Forster Artist’s Award will be given to Mr. Sanada this year and honors an actor for their body of work and impact on the industry in memory of the Academy’s late, dear friend and Saturn Award favorite, Robert Forster. Previous recipients of the award include, Christopher Lloyd and Seth MacFarlane.
