Peggy Gallagher, mother of Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, has finally seen her two sons reunite on stage.
At their concert in Croke Park, Dublin this weekend, she saw the famous brothers performing together for the first time in 16 years.
Liam said: “This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight,” before launching into Stand By Me, according to The Mirror,

He also dedicated Roll With It to the residents of Charlestown, in Mayo, Ireland, his mum’s hometown.
In the middle of the song, he turned to the upper tiers of the stadium where it appears she was sitting, and blew kisses and mouthed “I love you.”
The 92-year-old was keen to watch her sons on stage again but had to wait until she could see them from a seat rather than the all-standing concerts in Manchester.
She still lived in the city where she brought up her three sons.

In an interview in June, she confirmed that she was part of the reason why the brothers resolved their issues and came together again for the shows
“I was the instigator, yes,” she told Ireland’s Mail on Sunday. “But sure, wasn’t it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look you can’t force them to do things they don’t want to do.
“It’s great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?” she said.

The brothershad a long-standing feud which culminated in a backstage fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009.
The same day, Noel announced he would be departing from the band.
“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight,” he wrote on the band’s website in a now-deleted statement, reported Pitchfork.

“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”
They made the decision to reunite in 2024 and embarked on the tour last month. it will come to Australia later this year.
