Little House on the Prairie is off to a modest start after arriving on Netflix over the weekend. The streamer’s new adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s book series debuted at No. 3 on the English TV list for the week of July 6 with 6.4 million views.
For context, Little House on the Prairie‘s four-day premiere performance is slightly better than recent Netflix original The Boroughs, which managed 5.6M in the same window. While that’s a bit of a lackluster opening for the anticipated reboot of the American classic, there is still plenty of time for the series to grow, given that it just premiered on July 9.
Netflix’s TV slate has been facing some tough competition from Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You. The series once again claimed first place on the English TV list for the fourth consecutive week, adding 11.5M views to its total tally. That puts it over 85M views in under 30 days, making it a strong contender for the Top 10 Most Popular English Series list which once featured another Harlan Coben adaptation, Fool Me Once.
I Will Find You has around 65 days to catch up to His & Hers‘ 98.2M views over the 91-day initial window Netflix uses as standard for its all-time lists.
Second place for the past week’s TV list went to Worst Neighbor Ever with 8.1M views.
Over on the film side of things, Enola Holmes 3 tracked down an additional 12M views to stay atop the weekly English-language list. Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea launched in the No. 2 spot on the list with 9M views, and Voicemails for Isabelle took the No. 3 spot with 8.6M views.
