Magda Szubanski has shared an update with fans on her recent cancer diagnosis in her own special way.
Taking to Instagram, the 64-year-old shared a video with her fans about her latest obsession.

She told fans, “Having the cancer is not all bad because look…,” before revealing her new Lego Land Rover set.
“I am such an 11 year old boy trapped in a 64 year old lesbian’s body,” she remarked,
“I don’t know how that happened. It just is what it is.”
“I just think it was gonna be a real Land Rover, but look this will do,” she joked before adding she’s “Getting so bored now.”
In her caption she added further context.

“The upside of The Cancer – it ain’t all bad!! thank you @lego and @thrivepr for my new Lego Land Rover classic Defender. This will keep me busy for a bit,” she said before sneaking in the biggest update.
“Tricky with chemo-induced numbness in fingertips but… I’ve planned ahead and ordered a building kit with pliers and finger protectors !! GOOD TIMES!!! Now all I need is a Lego Queen Elizabeth II to pop in the driver’s seat,” she joked.
It seems the Kath and Kim star is now undergoing chemotherapy for her stage 4 mantle Cell Lymphoma.

The actress seems to have completely shaved her hair for the treatment and is experiencing “chemo induced numbness in fingertips”.
Fans took to the comment section to cheer her up.
“The one thing chemo hasn’t taken away from you is your spirit & your sense of humour Magda. You rock, you’ve got this x Hang in there,” one fan wrote.

The Big Girls’ Blouse star first revealed the news of her diagnosis on Instagram two months ago.

She described this particular type of blood cancer as “rare and fast-moving” and “one of the nasty ones”.
“It’s serious, but I’ve started one of the best treatments available… and I’m lucky to be getting absolutely world-class care here in Melbourne.
“I won’t sugar-coat it: it’s rough. But I’m hopeful.
“I’m being lovingly cared for by friends and family, my medical team is brilliant, and I’ve never felt more held by the people around me.”
