Man/Woman/Chainsaw have released their new song, “Only Girl,” via Fiction Records. The track has become a recent fixture in their live shows, and it comes alongside their new signing to the label, home to artists like the Cure and St. Vincent. The visualizer for the song features a twirling ballerina inside a jewelry box as vocalist/bassist Vera Leppänen sings, “Show me, slowly, I’m your only girl,” against a driving violin line.
“‘Only Girl’ is our playful love song,” Leppänen says. “Built around a ripping violin top-line and birthed from a grunge-y guitar jam, it gradually became something more boisterous and altogether more joyful — a total declaration of love. We had a lot of fun making it.”
