Blurring the line between vulnerability and dancefloor ecstasy, Marshmello, Ellie Goulding and AVAION have joined forces for a new single, “Save My Love,”
Out now via Interscope, the track explores emotional purgatory with both lift and longing. From its opening breath, “Save My Love” rests on the instantly recognizable vocal clarity of Goulding, whose harmonies glide with the kind of delicate ache that has earned her a well-deserved place among dance music royalty.
Beneath her typically stunning vocals, Mello and AVAION construct a pop-house arrangement that’s equal parts romantic and rhythmic. A winding lead synth coils around muted chords, teasing out tension without ever breaking the groove. There’s a cool aura of sophistication, carried not only by the sleek production, but also by Goulding’s ethereal delivery.
“Save My Love” arrives at a pivotal moment for Marshmello, who’s been steadily pivoting back toward his dance music roots in 2025 while relaunching his Joytime Collective imprint. He’s also prepping for a major tour with the Jonas Brothers later this year.
