Melbourne Cup Day is officially here once again, and while many have their eyes on the race that stops the nation at 3pm, for others, it’s more about the stylish high-profilers in attendance.
This year, British actress and model Elizabeth Hurley – as well as her son, 22-year-old model and actor Damian Hurley – will be attending the Melbourne Cup Carnival as special guests of the Victoria Racing Club.
Ronan Keating and Sophie Ellis-Bextor are also set to perform at Flemington Racecourse today.

An Aussie music icon is celebrating is birthday in style
Former pro-surfer turned ARIA-nominated musician Paul Fisher – better known by his stage name Fisher – is celebrating his birthday in style at the Melbourne cup.
The DJ is sharing a slew of fun videos to his Instagram Story with his crew prepping for a big day ahead, including a helicopter ride.
“And we’re off to the races, here we go,” Fisher laughed in a video posted to his Instagram story. “On the chopper son!”
The Losin’ It artist was joined by a group of friends including his wife, Chloe Fisher, podcaster Ellidy Pullin and radio host Lauren Phillips and her fiancé Paul O’Brien.
