Cassie Ventura revealed that Diddy suspected the Sinners actor of having an affair with her when she was in a relationship with the rapper. During Diddy’s ongoing federal trial on May 15, she detailed what happened when the singer was shooting for the film, Honey 3.
Per People, Anna Estevao, one of Diddy’s attorneys, asked Ventura, “Mr. Combs suspected you of a relationship with whom?” To which the 38-year-old singer replied, Michael B. Jordan. Meanwhile, sources close to the actor believe that he will not appear in the trial.
Moreover, the connection between Cassie Ventura and Michael B. Jordan was initially established when she filed a complaint against Diddy in November 2023. In her original complaint, she accused Diddy of sex trafficking and domestic violence.
Additionally, Ventura mentioned that in 2015, she began a “flirtatious relationship with an actor.” When Diddy discovered that, he allegedly called the Creed star and “threatened him.” Sources believe the actor in her original complaint is Michael B. Jordan (via People).
During Diddy’s trial, Ventura previously revealed some distressing details of her eleven-year relationship with the rapper. The Step Up 2 actress alleged that Diddy sexually assaulted her in 2018 when they were already broken up.
Cassie Ventura further stated that Diddy’s abusive actions were not limited to his partner. He allegedly also abused her friends and his employees. Ventura further noted Combs’ threatening actions.
Ventura claims Diddy threatened to release compromising footage of her in “freak-offs” when she refused to participate in such gatherings. After declining to attend one on her birthday, he allegedly mentioned the existing footage. “I feared for my career, my family,” Ventura said, explaining she ultimately complied to avoid his anger and potential career destruction.
