EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Dyon “Mojo” Brooks (aka Mojo Brookzz) has announced that his debut special, I Know You Lying, is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 6.
No word on what Brooks discusses in the special. Filmed at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theatre in December 2025, it’s directed by Mike “Homeless Pimp” Lavin and produced by 3 Nuts Studios’ Lavin, Jason Nower and John-J Sheridan. Brooks, Bernie Cahill and Grant Pennel of Activist Artists Management served as exec producers.
Brooks is a comic who’s recently gone stratospheric — climbing from headlining clubs to theaters to arenas in less than two years’ time. I Know You Lying shares its name with Brooks’s sold-out 2025 headline tour, where he sold more than 100,000 tickets across 40 cities. Prior to that, he was on his 2024 Unhand Me Now Tour, which sold more than 65,000 tickets.
Brooks is currently embarking on his biggest headline run yet, the 42-date international Outta Pocket Tour, spanning the U.S., Hawaii and Europe. The sold-out tour includes two homecoming shows at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena as well as two sold-out performances at New York City’s Beacon Theatre as part of the New York Comedy Festival in November.
With millions of followers across social media, Brooks sold out his 2026 appearance at Netflix Is a Joke Fest and stars in Tyler Perry’s series Miss Governor, which spent multiple weeks in Netflix’s Top 10. He can frequently be seen partnering with the Chicago Bears throughout the NFL Season and will next be seen in Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story, from Hallmark, the NFL and Skydance Sports, this December.
Brooks is repped by Bernie Cahill and Grant Pennel at Activist Artists Management, WME, and Todd Rubenstein at Yorn Levin, Barnes.
