Natasha Lyonne is apologizing to the other passengers on her Delta Airlines flight that were delayed because she got kicked off.
As we previously reported on Thursday, Natasha left the Euphoria season three premiere and hopped on a flight from El Lay to NYC. But that’s when things allegedly went haywire.
Insiders for PageSix claimed flight attendants approached Natasha in the first class section of the plane asking her to close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt for take off. From there, she shockingly had no reaction. An eyewitness told the outlet multiple flight attendants attempted to get through to her, and she allegedly appeared out of it. They said she was possibly even dozing off behind her sunglasses.
Natasha’s laptop was eventually removed from her lap, according to the report, as the plane made its way to the runway. It later turned around to the gate, where an airline staff member boarded and checked in on her. They allegedly asked:
“Ma’am, do you need medical attention?. Ma’am, I need you to come off the plane. Do you need help with your belongings?”
From here, the Poker Face star allegedly seemed confused and even asked where she was. She was eventually escorted off the plane after more than an hour delay! At the time, Natasha said in a tweet that she was sad she had to miss her taping of The Drew Barrymore Show because of this:
“My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports. Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn’t in the cards. Who owns page six/New York Post now again?”

But what is the full story? What actually went down? Why was there so much fuss?
Well, on X (Twitter), she has an explanation. She said in a quote-tweet that she’d taken Lunesta — a brand of sleeping pill — before takeoff:
“Indeed, I took a Lunesta once seated, to ensure some shut eye on the Delta One red eye flight to NYC. Boarded seamlessly with just a backpack and sneakers, eager for a nap. Plan was to be bushy tailed & beauty rested, as I was meant to head straight to glam for a slot with our beloved @DrewBarrymore, upon landing.”
Well, that explains why she was reportedly so out of it! But this is where things get WILD! Natasha claimed she was DETAINED by ICE:
“Was looking forward to seeing Drew & an in depth convo, but I guess ICE had other plans & I was detained instead. Sign of the times, I guess. Thanks for all the love and support. Never had a problem with @Delta or @TSA before. Heart is with our unpaid @TSA workers.”
OMG!
Over a sleeping pill?! That’s CRAZY! Wrapping up her post, she said:
“Apologies to any travelers who were delayed.”
Seriously, what a wild story! People take sleeping and anxiety medication for flights ALL THE TIME! This isn’t something ICE should even be involved in. But, of course, our airports are now packed with ICE agents instead of regular TSA thanks to Trump and his partial government shutdown. Ugh.
Very well said on her part. We’re glad Natasha is okay after such a scary situation. Reactions, Perezcious readers?
