The popularity of celebrity lookalike contests is increasing rapidly. Following New York City’s viral Pedro Pascal lookalike contest, New Orleans held its own version at Second Line Brewing. Fourteen men reportedly competed before hundreds of attendees for the title of best lookalike of the Chilean American actor.

Fans from New Orleans took the viral route to celebrate the enigmatic presence of The Fantastic Four: First Steps star. Over 300 followers gathered on Friday, July 11, to find the next Pedro Pascal lookalike from 14 strong contenders.

As per reports, Second Line Brewing and Southerns hosted the event, supplying fans with beverages and chicken sandwiches as they judged who deserved the title as a look-alike of the Emmy-nominated actor. (via Nola)

After a quick elimination of people, fans found three contestants who embodied Pascal’s spirit. Nick Accardo, Jack Largess, and Kevin Faucheaux were the finalists of the latest Pedro Pascal lookalike competition.

Not just visual appearance, the finalists also had to dance to flaunt their charisma as fans judged who matched Pascal’s exuberant charm the most. Finally, Kevin Faucheaux of Waggaman won the title and $50 cash as the prize money.

Faucheaux shared that he started getting recognition after Pascal’s role in The Mandalorian. The Waggaman resident shared that he frequently gets stopped by people who mistake him for the 50-year-old actor. He complained, “I get stopped two to three times a week; it’s ruining my life.”

Previously, a contest to find Pedro Pascal’s doppelgänger in NYC went viral. George Gountas, a lighting designer for The Daily Show, won the title, $50 cash, and a year of burritos at Son del North, a Mexican restaurant on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Furthermore, Gountas told People that he found out about the contest through a group chat with co-workers. After his colleagues and wife motivated him to show up, Gountas appeared for the contest, looking identical to Pascal.

Gountas also shared that he needed to shave some of his mustache to compete in the lookalike contest. “So I shaved the mustache, got dressed up, and here I am,” he added. George Guntas beat over twenty other people who claimed to be Pascal’s doppelgänger.
