Nicola Peltz Beckham gushed about her own mom, Claudia Heffner, on Mother’s Day — but failed to acknowledge her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
“Happy mother’s day to my queen 🤍,” Nicola, 30, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, May 11. “You’re my world mom and I [can’t] believe how lucky I am that I get to be your daughter. You’re the most beautiful human inside and out I’ve ever met — you’re my role model in every way.”
Nicola continued, “I love you more than words can express. You’re the most special human with the kindest soul and always put everyone before you. I hope today you get so spoiled! ‘I love you more’ always.”
The actress also shared a message for her late grandmother on the first Mother’s Day since her death. “I miss you more than you can imagine and think about you every second,” Nicola wrote.

Nicola did not mention Victoria — whose son Brooklyn she married in April 2022 — on the holiday, in the midst of a bitter Beckham family feud, which centers largely around Nicola and Victoria’s tense relationship.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly last week that “bad blood” has lingered between the two since before Nicola and Brooklyn got married.
“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the source explained. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”

The insider added, “He completely supports and stands by Nicola, and it has put a rift in his relationship with his parents. Nicola is outspoken and that is what has caused tension with his parents. She will defend Brooklyn a lot and is defensive. Brooklyn will always be on Nicola’s side, and that’s made things even more tense between him and his parents.”

The family rift was evident at Brooklyn’s father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration earlier this month, where Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola were noticeably absent.
Brooklyn has attempted to “mend” things with his parents, the source said, but David and Victoria “aren’t understanding of his side of the story.”
The insider added, “They asked him to come to the birthday party and Brooklyn refused, so they are all taking space right now.”
“David and Victoria just want all the drama to stop,” the source said. “They’re really upset that it’s all become so public. It’s embarrassing for them, especially since they’ve always tried to come across as this super tight, united family. Victoria wants all of her kids to get along and wants everyone to move on. It’s upsetting for her to see as a mother.”
