Nicole Kidman has applied for a residency permit in Portugal, according to local media reports.
The Australian actress submitted an application to the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA), according to Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias and others.
There was no mention of her husband, Australian country music star Keith Urban, having also applied for residency.

The 58-year-old star, who was seen recently filming Practical Magic 2 alongside Sandra Bullock, reportedly arrived at Tires airfield in Cascais, a wealthy coastal village near the capital of Lisbon, on Sunday.
The actress was reportedly looking to buy a home in the private luxury community of Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club, located in the region of Comporta, which has exploded in popularity recently among rich and famous foreigners.
The gated community also counts Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, Paris Hilton and George Clooney among its residents. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also rumoured to have a property there.
Kidman and Urban already have an apartment in Lisbon, in the suburb of Parque das Nações, which they bought back in 2023.
It’s not known if the Aussie power couple are looking to move to Portugal during Kidman’s upcoming career break, or if the reported residency application is for some other reason.

Kidman and Urban are both dual US and Australian citizens and have their home base in Tennessee, just outside of Nashville.
Kidman was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, while her Australian parents Antony and Janelle Kidman were temporarily in the US on student visas.
They moved back home about three years later with Nicole’s younger sister, Antonia, born in Melbourne.
Urban was born in New Zealand before growing up in Caboolture, north of Brisbane, from the age of two.
Chasing his country music dreams, the singer headed to Nashville and said he instantly felt an affinity for the city.
“It instantly felt like home to me,” he told Rolling Stone in a 2014 interview.
“Nashville felt very familiar to me because I grew up with so much American culture.
“I would say 95 per cent, if not more, of all the television we watched growing up, my brother and I, was all American sitcoms, American movies, American dramas, everything.
“I just waltzed into Nashville and the way everyone talked sounded completely normal to me.”
