Niis have released “No Flowers” from their new EP, Play Niis, out Oct. 23 via Rise.
The EP was written during a time of heartbreak and uncertainty, with the songs exploring breaking free from societal monotony and reconnecting with joy, emotion, and human connection.

“I want someone to hear at least one song they can relate to on some level,” Doe said to AP last month. “That is my hope with any music we release. With the state of the world, social media, and the internet, all the chaos going on, we can’t properly connect with each other. People aren’t having these relationships with new people. If this EP can have one song that a few people can listen to and connect with, or connect with me in some way, that is the goal.”
Next week, Niis will begin a tour supporting Movements, Balance and Composure, and Midrift. See the dates here.
