The Cyrus family ‘rift’ has just gotten more complicated.
Noah Cyrus‘ relationship status with her older sister Miley is the latest to come under the microscope after she seemingly called out the Malibu singer for being disrespectful.
Fans noticed Noah, 23, recently left a comment on a resurfaced interview clip of Miley, 30, discussing her then 20-year-old sister as being “emo”.

“the disrespect in this video…” Noah commented under the TikTok clip of her sister on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2020 amid the family feud.
On the podcast, Miley spoke to Joe Rogan about Noah’s decision to go into music following the release of her debut record called The End of Everything.
Miley told the host that her younger sister’s new record was “the most depressing EP you’ll ever listen to.”
“She’s 20 years old. She’s emo. She’s, like, an emo kid,” the Flowers singer added.
Miley then discussed how her role on Hannah Montana affected her younger sister, quoting lyrics from Noah’s song Young & Sad.

In the track, Noah compares herself to a “raincloud” and Miley to “sunshine”, singing she would “follow [Miley] wherever she goes.”
After reciting the emotional lyrics, Rogan commented that Noah might need to see a doctor.
“She is, we’re all at the doctor a lot,” Miley responded, adding they have a “salary doctor”.

A video of the controversial clip has resurfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a screenshot of Noah’s comment under the video.
“I can see how it can hurt Noah’s feelings,” one fan said, adding that the Midnight Sky singer “shouldn’t have said all that.”
“I heard 0% disrespect. In fact I heard legit concern,” another refuted.
Others were confused if Noah’s comment was directed at her sister or the podcast host over his suggestion that she seeks professional help.
“I’m confused… does she mean Joe was disrespectful or Miley or both? I feel like Miley was just being light/funny but also defending her,” someone said.
The cryptic comment comes after Noah Cyrus didn’t attend her mother Tish Cyrus’ wedding to Dominic Purcell, fuelling feud rumours.
Noah and her brother Braison reportedly skipped the nuptials, attended by Miley, reportedly the maid of honour, and instead went to a Walmart, according to Page Six
In a series of photos from the outing posted to social media, the All Falls Down singer was seen wearing a shirt with her father Billy Ray Cyrus’ face on it.

To add to the family ‘rift’, Miley reportedly ”doesn’t have a relationship” with her father’s now wife according to E! News
The Wrecking Ball singer has also been reported to have a distant relationship with her father following her parent’s divorce.
