It ends with possibly another lawsuit?!
As you know, Blake Lively just settled her nasty legal battle with Justin Baldoni this month. She wants to put the whole thing behind her now and have a “fresh start” with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. But the fight ain’t over just yet!
The Gossip Girl alum is still going after Justin for legal fees and damages. Not only that, but Jed Wallace is now trying to revive his defamation case against Blake!

Remember him? If you don’t, Blake named Jed and his company, Street Relations Inc., in her civil rights complaint back in 2024. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star claimed Justin enlisted the Texas-based PR consultant and social media guru to help orchestrate an online smear campaign against her amid the It Ends With Us drama.
Wallace vehemently denied the allegations and requested that Blake’s lawsuit against him be dismissed. Judge Lewis Liman sided with him last year — but he didn’t say the guy had nothing to do with the alleged smear campaign. Just that Wallace couldn’t be sued in New York since the state doesn’t have jurisdiction over him. Additionally, Wallace filed a defamation lawsuit against her in Texas, but a judge dismissed it last year also due to a lack of jurisdiction. The court determined that Jed never proved that the Texas court had the power to handle the case. But now he’s saying otherwise in his appeal!
In court documents filed and obtained by TMZ on Friday, Jed insisted he has jurisdiction, claiming Blake took “meaningful Texas-targeted actions.” He argued that her allegations are about his conduct in Texas, so she invoked a Texas court to investigate her accusations, hired in-state lawyers, and paid filing fees to the Texas court.
All that, he feels, is more than enough to establish jurisdiction. He now wants the defamation suit to move forward in Texas and is demanding that the court reverse the dismissal.
Just when you thought there was an end in sight to Blake’s legal troubles! At this time, Blake hasn’t reacted to Jed’s appeal attempt. We’ll wait and see what the court decides, but it’s clear that this legal mess isn’t going anywhere for Blake!
