NOWHERE2RUN — the electronic side project from Code Orange’s Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose — have announced their new What Did You Do? EP, which arrives on Halloween via their own NOWHERE RECORDINGS. Recorded and self-produced between LA and Pittsburgh over the past year, the six songs enlist several of their left-field peers, including Ho99o9, Kamiyada, Backxwash, Lecx Stacy, Sadistik, and Erex.
“It felt like the right time to lower the mask and reveal a little bit of NOWHERE2RUN’s identity as artists,” Morgan says of the EP. “We constructed this project through the lens of a mystery — something very dark and tech noir-ish. It feels like an appropriate way to start to tell the story of where we are at and where we have been.”

Later this month, NOWHERE2RUN kick off their BLOODRAVE party series, including a release day event at Spirit in Pittsburgh that features “two floors of goth, techno, industrial, and freak sounds.” You can get a pretty good idea of what to expect by watching their video for “Motives,” directed by the duo, below.
