New York Comic Con recently announced ticket prices and on-sale dates for NYCC 2023. The biggest comic book convention east of the Mississippi takes places Thursday, October 12 through Sunday, October 15. Tickets have sold out well in advance every year for over a decade now. Fans looking to buy tickets should make note of the dates below.
NYCC ’23 VIP Pre-Sale
The VIP pre-sale will take place on Wednesday, May 31 at 10 AM ET. This is only open to fans who purchased VIP tickets to NYCC ’22. The VIP ticket is NYCC’s priciest ticket at $552.75. The ticket comes with benefits though, including guaranteed reserved seating for all Empire and Main Stage panels, guaranteed access to all other panels, first access to the show floor each day via an exclusive VIP-only entrance, a VIP lounge throughout the con, and first access to convention exclusive merchandise, photo-ops and autograph sessions. You can avoid last year’s reservations snafu with a VIP ticket.
Popverse Superfan Presale
Popverse Superfan presale takes place on Friday, June 2 at 12 PM ET. To access this presale, you must be a Popverse Superfan member, which is $99/year. Joining will allow you to buy tickets to NYCC 2023 ahead of others for you and a companion. Popverse Superfans also get advance access to tickets for ECCC, C2E2 and MCM. If you’re someone who travels to these shows, or just doesn’t want to deal with the madness of the general NYCC pre-sale, $99 might be worth your piece of mind.
NYCC ’23 Fan Verification Presale
Fan Verification Presale occurs on Sunday, June 11 at 10 AM ET. If you don’t have a Superfan membership, but bought tickets last year, this is your pre-sale.
IMPORTANT: Check your inbox for an email from April 3 with the subject line “New York Comic Con 2023 Profile Rollover.” If you received this email, you MUST click the link and fill out the form to roll over your fan verification. The deadline for this is tonight, Friday, May 5 at 11:59 PM. If you miss this, you may miss out on participating in the pre-sale. Curiously, this email does not seem to have been sent to everyone who had a Fan Verified Profile last year. But if you did receive this email, make sure you click the link and fill out the form, or else ReedPop might delete your fan verified profile. The email looks like this:
NYCC ’23 General Onsale
Fans who miss all of the above pre-sales will have on more chance. Thy can purchase NYCC 2023 tickets in the General Onsale on Wednesday, June 21 at 12 PM ET. There is no guarantee that the most popular tickets will still be available by the General On-Sale. If past years are any indication, the Saturday and 4-Day will both sell out before then.
