With just over a month to go before launch, Oni Press has unleashed some of the tales from upcoming EC Comics revival anthologies Epitaphs from the Abyss and Cruel Universe to whet readers appetites.
With 40-page openers, these five-issue anthology series will give a new spin on the type of storytelling that made the EC Comics line legendary in the ’40s and ’50s. Horror title Epitaphs from the Abyss #1 will hit comic shops July 24th, with its science fiction counterpart Cruel Universe #1 landing on terra firma August 7th.
