Her nomination this year makes her the youngest person and only woman to be nominated for both an acting and producing Oscar, for the same film, twice.
It also pushes her over the edge as the youngest actress to earn seven Oscar nominations at the age of 37.
Meanwhile, Chalamet has become the youngest person to be nominated for both an acting and producing Oscar (Best Actor and Best Picture) in the same year for Marty Supreme.
He has achieved the milestone at 30 years old.
Chalamet is also the youngest actor to receive three Best Actor nominations since Marlon Brando in 1954.
His competition in the category is strong, going up against Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke and Wagner Moura.
Aussie Jacob Elordi is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
Meanwhile, Byrne has been nominated for the Best Actress category for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which won her a Golden Globe just a few weeks ago.
She and Stone attended the pre-Oscars luncheon alongside the other Best Actress nominees Kate Hudson, Jessie Buckley and Renate Reinsve.
This year’s nominees were also joined by Oscar recipients including Steven Spielberg and Diane Warren, among other guests.
The 2026 Oscars will be held on March 15 (March 16 for Australians) at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
