Congratulations are in order for singer Perrie Edwards, who has welcomed her second child with her fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 32-year-old gave birth to a daughter, sharing the first picture of her on her Instagram account.
The black-and-white photo featured the newborn being held against Edwards’ chest, being propped up by her mum, dad, and older brother Axel’s hands.

In the caption, the singer revealed the new addition’s name – “Alanis Valentine 💕”.
The comments were filled with congratulations for the now family of four.
Edwards’ Little Mix bandmates were the first to do so, with Jade Thirlwall sharing, “So happy for you all ♥️ And can’t wait to meet her ✨”

Edwards started dating professional footballer Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017, and they have been engaged since 2022.
The couple welcomed Axel, their first child, four years ago.

The singer first announced her second pregnancy by taking to social media.
The star announced the news in an adorable black-and-white video she shared on TikTok and Instagram.
It started with Edwards walking away from the camera. She was dressed in black pants and a white T-shirt with the words, “If he wanted to he would…” written on the back.
She then turned around to reveal her pregnant stomach and the words “…And he did!” on the front of the T-shirt, before Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared on camera to embrace his partner.
The two were then joined by Axel. She uploaded the video with the caption “Guess what hunnies…”
Edwards, who rose to fame as one-quarter of the girl group that won the 2011 season of the UK version of The X Factor, recently revealed she had suffered two miscarriages, including a heartbreaking late miscarriage about three years ago.
She made the confession during the podcast We Need To Talk with Paul C. Brunson.
A short clip to publicise the podcast showed an emotional Edwards breaking down as she said, “I’ve never spoke about it before and nobody knows.”
In the interview, Edwards, 32, revealed Axel was a ‘rainbow baby’ and she had suffered two miscarriages, one before and one after welcoming Axel.
