Quitting Music?! Ariana Grande Says Upcoming Tour Will Be Her ‘Last Hurrah’!

Get a good look at Ariana Grande while she’s still a pop star… because she’s hanging up the microphone after next year — at least for now!

During her appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast on Tuesday, the Academy Award-nominated actress announced her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour, which kicks off next summer, will be “one last hurrah” in music for her as she transitions more into the world of acting… at least for the foreseeable future!

Ari dished:

“I think the last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up. I don’t want to say any definitive things, I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.”

But don’t get it twisted, she is excited to tour:

“I’m going to give it my all and it’s going to be beautiful and I’m so grateful.”

But she added:

“I think that’s why I’m doing it, because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah.’ For now.”

For her, this transition is about doing what “feels right in the moment.” She explained:

“I think the thing that will be best for my soul and also for my art and for what I’m giving myself is if I’m chasing things that feel very right in the moment. I think following those authentic impulses feels like a really good idea, like a good thing.”

Totally makes sense! But it’s also kinda sad!
