Although Galentine’s Day has come and gone, it’s never too late for a Parks and Recreation reunion.
Rashida Jones recently said she’s “ready any time” to join a revival of the NBC sitcom, in which she played nurse Ann Perkins for a majority of its seven-season run from 2009 to 2015, as she was recently reminded that her time jump scene in the series finale was set in 2025.
“Wait, were we in 2025 in the end? That’s so crazy,” she told GoldDerby, noting that a revival is up to Michael Schur, who co-created the series with Greg Daniels.
“Oh man, I hope sometime soon,” added Jones. “I know Mike Schur was like, ‘There has to be a reason for us to do it. We can’t just do it.’ But I would love that.”
In the 2015 finale ‘One Last Ride’, the gang’s journey unfolds through a series of time jumps set in 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2025, 2035 and 2048.

Ann appears in the 2025 segment with her husband Chris (Rob Lowe) and their kids, reuniting with best friend Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) as she decides to run for governor of Indiana.
Schur has also discussed the possibility of a revival. “I think that in the world we live in now, nothing is ever gone,” he told Variety in 2019.
“I felt the show had an argument to make, and the argument was about teamwork and friendship. I don’t feel like we left anything on the table. I would never ever say never. The chance to do it again, should it arise, would be incredible, but we would only do it if we all felt like there was something compelling us to do it,” added Schur. “If one single person said no, we wouldn’t do it.”
The cast of Parks & Rec previously reunited for a virtual special in 2020 to benefit Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund. They also came together on the picket lines amid the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023.
